At MAKAI Yachts we take your privacy seriously and we’d like to explain how your data is used and for what reasons we hold it. WHO WE ARE
MAKAI Yachts produces MAKAI Yachts Ltd produces leisure motor boats of “power catamaran” architecture. MAKAI is focused on all of the things you would expect: design, production management, marketing – but very much on customer service. MAKAI Yachts aims to define and dominate the high-quality segment of the power catamaran market (a market segment currently badly underserved) and our stated aim is to treat you and your data with commensurate respect and care.
MAKAI Yachts is only interested in producing and promoting catamarans (yachts). We have no intention of entering any other field and your data would not be used to engage in marketing activities in any other field.
You may see us online, in email communications, or in person, both as MAKAI Yachts, and MAKAI Power Catamarans. Both of these trading names correspond to MAKAI Yachts Ltd of Epsom, Surrey, United Kingdom. The only official website of MAKAI Yachts and MAKAI Power Catamarans is www.makaiyachts.com. This statement on our Privacy Policy applies only to www.makaiyachts.com (our only website). Any other websites bearing or purporting to promote MAKAI are not authorised websites of MAKAI Yachts Ltd and you should consider the privacy policy of those websites on their own merit.

We may use your personal information to send you updates about our power catamarans by email, text message, telephone or post. This will contain information about our products and services (catamarans) only, including exclusive offers and promotions. We use cookies which have the functionality to track visitors to our website which can be used to selective target relevant adverts whilst on other websites.
We have a legitimate interest in processing your personal information for promotional purposes (see above ‘How and why we use your personal information’). This means we do not usually need your consent to send you promotional communications. However, where consent is needed, we will ask for this consent separately and clearly.
