The three managing partners of MAKAI Yachts each have extensive experience in the boating industry in manufacturing, business management, sales and marketing. While in management of a major sailing catamaran manufacturer, this experience was leveraged to deliver a comprehensive turnaround of the business, launching it into a phase of growth.
Seeing a power catamaran market in need of a similar game-changing boat, and having built and launched a number of successful power catamarans throughout their careers, the team realised the need for a product that redefined the market. With this in mind, the team has decided to launch a new independent brand to make their dream a reality and bring this unique and promising product to life – MAKAI Power Catamarans.
